In this tutorial, I will walk you through the simple steps to set up a custom domain inside your Landing Page Builder Marketing Asset.
To access the custom domain feature in MarketingBlocks, you need to first create a project
And then click on the Landing Page to make changes to it. If you have not created a landing page before, kindly click here to learn how to create one.
Follow the steps below to access the custom domain:
Step 1: On your project dashboard, select Landing Pages.
Step 2: Click on Custom Domain and select Custom Domain Management
Step 3: Copy the generated URL.
Step 4: Log in to cPanel.
At this point, you need to create a subdomain in your web hosting Cpanel account. NameCheap will be used in this article, but note that this process is one and the same for any hosting site you use.
First, login into the Cpanel and scroll down to find “Zone Editor”.
Next, click on CNAME.
Type in your subdomain. You do not need to include the HTTP or HTTPS protocols.
Finally, fill in the CNAME. In this case, it will be app.marketingblocks.ai. Also, note that the HTTP or HTTPS protocols will not be included. Once done, click on “Add a CNAME Record”.
Step 5: Add the Subdomain to the MarketingBlocks Landing Page
Enter the subdomain you have created in your Cpanel, as shown in the screenshot below and click Add Domain.
It takes 24-48hours for the SSL to propagate. You will need to be patient.
And that’s it!
