How To Host Your Exported Pages.

In this article, I’ll walk you through how to export your landing pages and host them properly in the domain of your choice.

This comes in handy when you do not want to use the Custom Domain feature, which only accepts subdomains and also want to do away with the slugs that are added to the URLs in the Landing pages.

To get started, you need first to create a project

And then click on the Landing Page to make changes to it. If you have not created a landing page before, kindly click here to learn how to create one.

Follow these steps to export and host your pages.

Step 1: On your project dashboard, select Landing Pages.

Next, Locate the “Export” button and click on it to download the zip file to your local computer.

Locate the folder and unzip it. After unzipping the folder, you should find the exported page’s HTML, CSS and JavaScript files.

Next, select all three files and compress them into a zip file.

Step 2: Go To Your Cpanel.

At this point, it is time to go to your web hosting cPanel account. NameCheap will be used in this article, but note that this process is the same for any hosting site you use.

First, login into the cPanel and scroll to find “File Manager”.

Once clicked on, the page opens all the files for your domain and subdomains. To locate that of your main domain, select “public_html”.

Next, delete all the files inside the “public_html” folder except the “cgi-bin” folder.

Step 2: Import The Zipped File.

Next, right-click on the imported zip file and click “Extract”.

Right-click on the zipped file to delete.

And that’s it!

With this procedure, your website will be live on your domain.
