Billing & Credits shows your credit balance, your current plan, and how your credits have been used. Credits power the work Ethan and your automations do for you, such as writing posts and creating images.
You need to be logged in to MarketingBlocks. If you haven’t logged in yet, see How to Access Your Account on MarketingBlocks V5.
How to Get There
At the bottom of the left-hand menu, click your name to open the account menu. Then click Billing & credits.

What’s on the Page
The page is titled Billing & credits, with the line “Shared balance and usage for” followed by your workspace name. It has three tabs:
- Overview: your credit balance and what you’ve used.
- Plans: your current plan and how much of it you’ve used.
- Activity: a detailed record of how your credits were spent.
Click Refresh at the top right of any tab to reload the latest numbers.
Step 1: Check Your Credit Balance
Open the Overview tab. It shows three things.
Your credit wallet. The large card shows the credits Available to create. It carries a Shared balance tag, because one balance covers all of the owner’s brands.
Reserved. The number of credits held for work in progress. These credits come out of your available balance while a task runs.
Credits used. The total of final deductions to date.
Add credits. This section is for one-time, prepaid credit purchases shared across your brands. If no packages are available, it reads “No credit packages are available yet. Contact an administrator for credits.”
Step 2: Review Your Plan
Open the Plans tab.
Current plan. This shows the name of your plan, such as Starter, with its credit tier, its status, and whether API access is included. A note below says your existing plan terms are preserved and catalog updates do not change your assignment.
Plan usage. This shows how much of each limit you’ve used, shared across your brands. Each item has a percentage ring and a count, such as “1 of 3 used”:
- Brands
- Workspace members
- Social media channels
- Calendar schedules
- Content campaigns
- DM & comment automations
- Post boost automations
- Automation runs per month
- Storage
How plan usage is counted. Click this note at the bottom of the page to open it. It explains how each limit works:
- All limits and usage are shared across the owner’s brands.
- Pending invitations reserve member seats.
- Automation runs reset each calendar month in UTC.
- Stored files count until you delete them.
- Calendar schedules count posts that are currently scheduled or publishing.
- Credit tiers describe your allowance. This page does not grant credits or change your billing renewal date.

Step 3: Track Where Your Credits Go
Open the Activity tab. The Credit details section reads “Review usage, balance changes, purchases, and current rates.” It has four views:
- Usage: each task that used credits.
- Transactions: changes to your balance.
- Purchases: credits you’ve bought.
- Pricing: the current credit rates.
The Usage view opens first. Each entry shows what the credits were used for, such as an image or writing, along with the date and time and the number of credits. A Charged tag shows the credits were taken from your balance. Click the arrow on an entry to see more. Scroll down to see older entries.

Good to Know
- One balance covers every brand. Credits and plan limits are shared across all brands under the same owner.
- Reserved credits come back or become used. Credits held for work in progress move to Credits used once the work finishes.
- Check Pricing before big jobs. Rates differ by task, so the Pricing view helps you plan.
- Refresh for the latest numbers. If your balance looks out of date, click Refresh.
- Ask an administrator for credits. If no packages are available to buy, your administrator can add credits for you.
Why This Matters
Knowing your balance and limits means your content never stops unexpectedly. Check this page now and then to see what you have left, which limits you’re close to, and which tasks use the most credits.
